- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar area.
- 0-2 years of experience in telecom or optical network testing or quality assurance.
- Deep knowledge of optical networking principles, including DWDM, SDH/SONET, OTN, Ethernet, ROADM, and fibre architectures.
- Practical experience with tools for optical network planning and design.
- Knowledge of Layer 0/1/2 network architectures and traffic management concepts.
- Understanding of test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Selenium, and Rest API) for automation is advantageous.
- Robust analytical abilities and adeptness in resolving issues.
- Familiarity with tools for network inventory and service delivery.
- Knowledge of telecom standards from ITU-T, MEF, and IEEE.
- Familiarity with network simulation and emulation settings.
- Familiarity with agile development and DevOps methodologies.
- Comprehension of network performance indicators and metrics
