Cognitive Ability Assessment
This round is conducted to assess the candidate’s cognitive ability. This round might be conducted in a WebEx conference, and a proctor will watch the candidate play several games that help test their cognitive ability. Games that are usually included in this round are:
- Shortcuts (where the goal is to move the blue marble to the stars).
- Gridlock (where the goal is to place the provided blocks in the designated main area).
- Resemble (where the goal is to create a needed image from a given image after rotation).
- Numbubbles (where the goal is to pop the bubbles whose sum equals the given target).
- Tally Up (where the goal is to determine whether the calculation on the left side equals, exceeds, or falls short of the calculation on the right side).
The result of this Cognitive Ability Assessment round will be processed quickly, within half an hour. The candidates selected in this round will be invited to the upcoming rounds.
Coding Round
The next process in the IBM Recruitment Process is the coding round. This round is a dynamic round. The candidates will be given 1 to 4 coding questions in this round. The duration for this round depends on the number of questions given. Usually, 1 to 2 questions will be 30 to 40 minutes.
